Default Rear lights

I'm looking to remove at least one of my rear lights to clear up some surface rust (on the bumper bracket just under the rear light).
Two questions. Are they are PITA to remove once you have wrestled the boot trim out of the way and what are the gaskets like for reusing (ie are you better replacing them once you have disturbed the light to stop it leaking in the future)

Thanks

4 bolts. Dead easy. Gaskets should be ok - new ones about 15 quid a side i think.

Out of interest, what are the gaskets you're talking about? I'm not sure mine has them, but it could be another thing that the guys who foxed my car after the on track crash forgot to put back together.

A thin grey spongy type sticky backed thing that could I suspect be substituted for something like draught excluder.

Around the outermost edge of the light (outside of the fixing studs) stuck to the light usually surrounded by dirt and if I remember correctly the foam side is , in places stuck to the bodywork .

I know when I've had my rear lights out I Wish I had replacements for them.
