Thanks.

Tyres are both within 6 months old. They are both fitted with the tread pattern travelling in the correct direction.

This happens a lot,,"the garage won't have done anything" scrub your new tyre's in and get a new Geo done

I would suggest you consider Ray's opinion, apart from the fact he knows his stuff, your steering wheel no longer being straight suggests something quite 'dramatic' has happened to your car. Having to 'turn' to the left to steer straight is a big concern, and unless you have a 'flat' tyre then something has happened and the garage people have caused it, as suggested by Daytona above.
I found this happened to me after eurospec tried to do the geo then found out all my bolts are seized, they must of knocked it out from trying to free up the bolts.

You need to get it back on an alignment rig to see what is out
Whilst its there you may as well reset it

could be the previous tyres were worn unevenly (eg 3 mm inner edge, 5mm outer edge) and the geo was set to that ?

I can't see how the garage or a tyre change would have caused the wheel alignment to be out...unless they managed to drive your car off the side of the ramp!

I would think one of your tyres is not as it should be. As a simple check, swap your wheels left to right to see if the car now veers the other way

Just. Do. New. Geo.

You can't put new tyres on and expect the geo to match them perfectly or vice versa.

It's a sports car - maintain it like one.

it makes sense that geo on worn tyres would be different to new

it's usually cheap to just get geo checked (rather than setup)

i have never experienced this but thinking about when i get my geo done it's usually been on new rubber, every couple of years.. although it needs doing now and the tyres are ok i think...

hmm
