Default Rear wheel widths

Firstly, i know wheel size questions and threads have been done to death over the years but i'm struggling to come up with a definitive answer to my query despite trawling threads on here for a while.

I'm looking at a set of Enkei RPF01's (should have been OEM!) While i'm looking to fill the arches out more than Mr Honda's 16' effort i can't help thinking i'm going to run into problems if i slap 9j on the back. every time I've seen them i'm drawn to the fact that everything looks a bit snug between tyre & arch.

Has anyone seen or got 8.5j width on the back, other than the standard facelift wheels?

Rpf01's are available in 8.5j +30 or +40, shown here > Size chart

Any advice as to how these would fit is much appreciated.

Hi,

Not sure what would fit best, but iv got 9J et42 fitted on the rear of mine. I graze the lip on the arch (Rubbing on the rubber strip that goes around the arch) when deep compression around corners or bumps. Car has been lowered about 25 - 30mm. My guess would be 8.5J ET40 would be a good fit and no risk of rubbing.

An 8.5" +45 rubs with a 245 tyre, an 8" +44 rubs with a 235 tyre. So a 225 would be fine.

How do you not rub with 9J ET38?
Iv dialed in a bit of extra camber so running 2deg on rear. 245 tires and a small bit of rub which iv overcome by just stiffening up my suspension a tad,

He'll be running close to or more than 3" in combination with narrower tyres, must be.

I've got the oem 17s with a 10mm spacer which make them et55 and 245/40 AD08s, 2.5 degrees camber and only have a tiny bit of space left between the tyre and the bumper tab.

Rolled Arches?
Is 3° not a bit much for road use? Or OK for a daily? (Hence reason I only went up by 0.5° from stock.

What's the OEM offset, is it ET65?
