You will also need an adaptor for the radio aerial. Beware the new head unit will probably not work at all without this!

i got it all fitted and working now. however the face does not fit it properly. i need to take a couple of mm off the radio surrounding. anyone know where i could get this modifyed or what type of place could?

Its should fit, it fitted in my MY00 and as i pointed out dont have the surround on.

When i had the fascia off the radio door would close no problem,headunit are a bugger to fit (My JVC was) as there aint much room just make sure its flat and doesnt obstruct the back.

The Alpine XDA-100 I have has a huge prominent knob on the front - and it fits.

You need to do a bit of cable management at the back, or look at the cradle and how far the head unit is going into it.

i have made enough room at the back and the head unit goes in fine. itsd just the face will not go on (fairly large face) as the vent surrounding bit is in the way. so the only way iv got it at the moment is the head unit unscrewed and pulled forward. but sticked out and is not held in place properly.
