Default Refurbed Brake Caliper query

Just a quick query here for you people who know what you are looking at, unlike myself.

I'm having the front OEM Calipers replaced with 'Remanufactured' ones and ordered these from a firm in Wakefield via ebay.

I've been told they have everything needed with them and are like new, ie, they've had all the pistons and rubber seals replaced etc but on looking at the ebay piccy of them and comparing to some second hand ones on there, there looks to be bits missing to me, specifically the bits that go on those long shiny pins either side.

I'd appreciate if anyone could cast an eye over the piccy and let me know if it looks right or not and perhaps what I should have asked them about.

Here's the ebay advert

thanks,
Dan

That really is just the caliper, not the carrier or anything!

You'd have to paint your carrier to match etc.

Google "bigg red" calipers, they are in Worcester, fantastic service, used them many times.

DAMN! I knew it didn't look right..

So, what's the 'Carrier' and can the one off my old Brakes be used?

I'm not bothered about the colour or anything as long as the part can be re-used and work properly with these refurbed calipers.. or is the Carrier a part that will be siezed and not re-usable?

This is what happens when you are in a panic to buy something because the dealer has your car with siezed up brakes and you just want it back quickly.. Honda told me OEM brakes wouldn't arrive until October on back order so I was running out of options I almost pulled the trigger on a pair of brand new Stoptechs after seeing a glowing report on here, but they were going to take 2 weeks to arrive.. had they been on the shelf I'd have bought them just to get my car back on the road fast.

My car is due to have the brakes done tomorrow so if I can't use these old Carrier things then I'm stuffed..

I've tried Brakes International and they told me that S2000 OEM calipers are like rocking horse shit atm hence why I just dived in without fully researching when I spotted the ones on ebay..

So, I just spoke to Bigg Red, great people and very helpful with explaining to me what the carrier is and the fact it should come off my old brakes and just fit these new calipers without issue so I'm hoping everything is still on track for getting the car back.

I was also told that S2000 calipers/carriers etc are indeed almost impossible to get hold of at the moment and that rears are worse to find than fronts apparently.

I find it difficult to believe though that a Honda dealer cannot get hold of them until the end of October but then I suppose the car is no longer made and perhaps these model of caliper are no longer manufactured by Nissin??

Are there any alternatives that fit straight on under the OEM wheels? I've read that the Spoon ones are the closest or do they also need aftermarket wheels/offset or spacers?
