Been lurking in the background for too long now. Thought I'd put my head above water for a bit and see how the forum is these days. Had a a load of growing up to do since I was last on here.

Still got the GPW. Just starting to breath some life back in to her; new wheels, bit of paint, new hood, new rubber and exhaust. Pic's will follow when she is back from the shop.

As an import the under seal has never been that good so the next plan is to strip the underside including the engine and box, dip and powder coat anything that will fit in the oven, fresh bushes throughout, strip and rebuild gearbox and diff, new clutch, new bolts throughout and add a few other tasty bits here and there.

All hopefully in the time for Le Mans this year! Who's going
