Default Remote Control

I've had the car for 6 weeks now, all going well (5500 miles ), however I've had the most wierd experience for the past few days.

My key fob battery seems to have run out! I've just locked myself inside (?) and out of my car at work. Whilst it's no problem to change the battery or use the other key fob, I wondered if anybody else has had this.

Maybe it's been all the driving and constant showing of the car to people.

I reckon one-off dodgy battery. It might be worth trying for a warranty replacement

I have had a problem with my key fobs. About 2 months after getting the car (2003) the two black key fobs stopped working! The best bit is that the honda standard grey one (is this the one that is installed before the dealer gets hold of the car?) has started working including the boot release button.

Unfortunately I spoke to the dealer and he said he's had one similar a year ago and a board needed changing to get the old fobs working. I say unfortunately because once that's installed I'll have to go back to the 3 second boot release race.

Not exactly the same but I thought I might save starting a new thread.
