Default removing the central console cover

I managed to get the radio facia off but can't get the angle right to replace it. I am bending the clip holders and risk snapping them off. Looks the only way to offer the fascia up correctly is to remove the central console cover. The front end is kept in place with clips but what is the rear end kept in place with?

TIA for any help
