Its not legal to remove it for UK roads though?
but where else is there to ove it? front end is to pointy and low.

what about display in window on passenger side?

but I think the front plate holder looks so after thought.

I will be running a 3/4 size plate with legal font so the police will find it hard to see its different in the mouth of the bumper mounted on a hinge so at speed it retracts out the way, had one on my prelude years ago and never had a single issue with it.

You can get them on ebay from the US here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-OEM-Honda-S2000-CR-AP1-AP2-Red-License-Plate-Caps-E-/380333476746?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories &fits=Make%3AHonda|Model%3AS2000&hash=item588da44b 8a

I don't think you can get them in this country from the dealers because front plates are considered to be a legal requirement, I did ask someone on here who was supplying discount honda parts and he stated something along those lines.

ThIf a few folk are buying some to take advantage of cut down postage give me a shout, I still havent got round to ordering mine.

Yes it is, but ill take the chance.
Blimey, rather you than me! I used to run a smaller number plate at the front (legal letter size just smaller plate as my reg number is a small number of characters). Standard size/spacing at the rear. And I used to get pulled a lot. I changed it back to legal size at te front after my third £60 fine in as many months.
If you blank the holes out you can't even say sorry officer it must have just fallen off

I've had a 3/4 plate on the front of the S for the past 3 years and never been pulled. I think it's an MOT failure though so I have velcro'd it on and replace it with a legal one for the test.

My thinking is that in the coming years due to government cuts that there will be less bobbies on the beat and those that there are are going to be more stretched and therefore not bother with minor infringements, unless there are other cicumstances such as speeding involved.

Saying that I will probably get stopped now!

Certainly wouldn't run a car without a plate though.

You guys are jammy! I think maybe the coppers round my way are just ****s then. Mind the last time I was pulled was on the motorway! Theres me getting out the car and lorries are hurtling past me just a meter away ... For the massive offence of a small but legally sized letters number plate. Nice one rozzer. I was fuming for that one. Fkin dangerous.

Ill take my chances on this, think im just going to get the body shop to fill it all in.. if it comes to it and i do get roasted a few times ill just stick one on with double sided tape..

As i said tho, im going to display one on the back of my passengers side sun visor.. dont know how legal that is but i suppose it looks then like im making some kind of effort!

would it be possible, yeah I know it would in a practical way, to put an adhesive number on that maintains front aero profile for reg still shows. A bit curved yet but if visable and ANPC or what ever its called read it still.

it annoys me that bikes get away with no front plate and now with speed cameras more often facing to take driver face in photo than from rear as first GATSOs were, bikes don't get caught?
forgetting the speed camera thing, still annoys me anyway lol
