Removing Frost.....
#21
I can't use the S2000 for work so the problem of ice on the rear window does not occur . I have to slum it in a 1.9 normally aspirated diesal Citroen Berlingo all week !. And its usually loaded with 700kg of 25kg weights . It gathers speed slowly rather than acelerates .
But try keeping car in garage ,I don't have any trouble with frost @the weekend

Chippo you miss out! Take today, I had a meeting in Northampton at lunch time.. so a nice drive up the A34, M40, A43 (bit slow) to Northampton, top down heater on full. When the weather is nice like today then it's not even too bad getting stuck in 30MPH traffic.
Keep well

Well I'm fortunate, I suppose, in that I've got a garage, so until now I've never had to think of the implications of parking it outside in winter. Having to defrost that plastic window first thing in the morning must be a pain. I'm not a 'Morning Person' at the best of times! It's probably the best argument I can think of for fitting a hard top so far. What a very committed lot we are that we take these sort of problems in our stride along with ownership of the car.
The plastic rear window was the thing that caused me more soul- searching than any single factor that I considered about the car. Looking back now, it's not caused me a moments problems, I prefer it I think, to the glass version. I give it fairly minimal attention, treating the outside like the rest of the car, and just wiping away any interior film build up from time to time. There's no evidence of any undue yellowing or creasing. I wonder if it's possible to 'overcare' for it with a little too much elbow grease?

You try putting the eqivilent of 8 people in the boot of a SKi and see what happens
Any way I am just jealous that I cannot drive it all week like some perhaps I could take a tin opener to the Berlingo @ least for the open air feel !!!

That thought crossed my mind also.
Plastic can only take so much 'attention'.

I hope the glass screen a de-mister works ok
I have never had the joy of playing with the S2002 so I don't know what the rear screens going to be like.
Some of the chaps from over the water have seen the S2002 and really rate the rear screen....I did notice they were from CA though which probably means they don't see ice too often!
