Default Removing scuff from end of exhaust tip

So my new exhaust just turned up from the states

Trouble is one tip has a tiny scuff on it where it wasn't packed properly. Its not enough to send back, and to be honest once on the car you won't see it but my OCD is getting the better of me!

Can anyone recommend the best way to buff this out? I'm not really sure whats best, I'm thinking some sort of dremmelling. Its not something that'll polish out.

Any ideas? It just needs the roughness taking off really.

Fine wet and dry paper then polish it up - can't see it being any different to anything else that's metal. It just needs smoothing out then making shiny again.

Assuming its just stainless steel and not something more exotic?

No its all stainless, no coating or anything. Imagine if some one had stood the exhaust on concrete on its tip and then picked it up, its like that. Its a bit rough where its been placed down on something.

Thanks for the quick replies

As a matter of interest what system did you go for. Ive been looking around for a replacement system for my 2004 and most systems seem to state they only fir up to 2003. I can see the replies coming in now that they all fit all models .

Would be good to know was it just a cat back system and what sort of money they cost from the states and delivery times.

Thanks in advance.
