Replacement dampers - recommendations
Track is Goodwood in Sussex. Corner is 'fordwater' with a nice crest on the apex and off camber on exit - a good confidience test!
Could be tyres...the Toyos seem to be ok - off the line probably better traction than the SO2s - but lateral rip ssupect?
Cheers,

The best for stock are stock

I up the pressure a couple of PSI for track - adds to stability of Toyos in my opinion. The S02s I kept at 32 psi for both road and track.
From your combined input sounds like I should get the geo measured / adjusted again before I look to buy some new dampers - as potentailly it could have changed. I'll get this done next week.
If its ok then I'll continue down the new damper route - what adjustables can I fit the standard spring to?
Many thanks for the advice guys....

If you up the pressure for track, then they get hot, you will have very high pressure tyres.
So 34 might end up being 36-38.
I know the 17's are best set to 36 psi for road use, but not sure what happens when they get v hot!

I recommend that the best dampers for stock ride but with the ability for track fun would be adjustable dampers with spring rates close to stock.

Pretty much what I have
but 35mm lower
Hi Jeremy,
Is the desire for (near) standard springs because you want to be able to do class 0? I've been thinking more about the Toyo's and my rear suspension and something is wrong there. I think its the suspension but any sudden 'give' in the tyres may exacerbate suspension issues and be the cause of some of my moments (sideways at Fordwater isn't comforting). I'm getting the suspension checked out in a couple of weeks and will try some different tyres at some point to.
On the topic of dampers I've got Bilsteins Pss9's? on mine but I can't compare how they feel compared to stock as I've not experienced anything else. I did have Bilstein sprintlines on the 306 with standard sprints and they felt better mid stroke but were harsher on the initial movement.
