What settings are you looking for on the geo??
Grippier ones! I'm going to the same guy (Chris @ CoG) that set up the car a few times before so I'll talk to him when I get there and see what he thinks.

I've got 225/50s on the front and 245/45s on the rear - seems ok
Seems ok, except for the handling issue
Are you still on 16" (OEM) wheels?

IMO! the 225/245 combination reduced the stagger a lot.
The 205 S-02 is (IMO ) really narrow compared to other tires so a 225 will be a lot wider, more then the 20mm difference in width suggests.

Anyway... I guess you found out the hard way the S-02's on OEM 16" wheels work really well on the S2000.

Is it just me or am I mis-reading this thread somewhere?

You've replaced the specific (and they DO have a wider-than-usual, squarer tread on a 225 carcass!) S-02 with a notoriously soggy-sidewalled Toyo and you wonder why the car is less stable on the limit and you suspect it may be dampers?

Either I've missed the bit where it WAS fine on the Toyos, or that's female logic!

Had the geo checked today.
Apart from a little too much toe on the rear - from a recent bump - the alignment was ok. Now adjusted to 'optimum' plus with 1.2 negative front and 2.1 negative rear.
So - it must be the tyres...hence ordered some RE050As.

Cheers
