For future reference I have found a company (www.carhood.com) who will supply a replacement MY00 - MY02 replacement rood for

 

Are you having a new top fitted Shipley? If so, why? And are you going for the 'carhood' option? I would welcome to opportunity to inspect the finished result in a Sussex pub car park!

I was looking at the US boards recently and saw that there is an increasing number of MY00 hoods starting to wear in the usual place. This prompted me to wonder how much a replacement will cost. I reckon I may get it done next year but would probably want to upgrade to the MY03 type for the glass rear window.

Carhoods reckon they are not interchangeable but I'll check with Honda as I think some have been done in the states.

No rush though. Its amazing the amount that labour adds to the cost, must be a horrible job

 

some guys in Japan have done the conversion..from plastic to glass, but it is v.expensive.
