Road Trip: Black Mountains

Road Trip: Black Mountains
Last weekend a friend and I ventured over the boarder into Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountain. The roads are amazing so I thought I'd share a couple of photos.
The road from Brynamman to Llanadog was the best-really twisty and tight, but since there were no trees or hedges you could see the road for about half a mile ahead of you as it snakes around the hills, meaning you can do some questionable overtaking completely safely. Some of the hairpins have some scary sheer cliff faces on the over side of them too!

Definitely!
I love that road, such an awesome drive even in the wet as you can see so far ahead! They've filmed quite a few cars on Top Gear using that road including one of the Merc AMG Black's and the Ford Focus RS...
The other way from Llangadog to Brynamman is even better IMO as you can see the road snaking beneath you as you head down the mountain
