Default Roof cleaning tip

My roof was starting to look a bit grey and I didnt want to chance the autoglym bumper thing so I thought well the roofs plastic and armourall is for plastic and its easy to use so I gave it a go. I started with the small strip below the plastic window and thought it looked godd then did the side panel of the roof then the whole lot. Result was that it left it looking alot better, no patchy finish a slight sheen and darker. Took me 10 mins max with a cloth.

That sounds pretty good, I must admit it has crossed my mind in the past. I hope you don't have a 'car dipped in olive oil' fiasco when it rains though I'd did when I last tried a new product on the roof.... the excess treatment ran all over the glass and paintwork leaving me rather p'd off!

Tiff, I know what your saying, I used to go a bit overboard on other cars black bits and had the same effect, but this time Ive tried not to use too much, I sprayed it on the cloth first and made sure it was rubbed in, it rained last night and I got a few spots of rain on it before I got it into the garage and this morning it liiked great.

Sorry cant do it not got all the gubbins. Try it on the bit below your rear screen and see how you like it. Mine is a definite improvement but as tif says when it rains hard you might get the Olive oil effect. I dont think it can damage the roof and in my experience of using this in the past it comes off when you wash it so its more like a dressing.
