Rotrex #2
Congratulations!
I am more and more tempted by this but am still holding on to see what Mase is doing with the RHD turbo.
Do you think with some relocation of the pipes and maybe radiator you could fit one of these at some point in the future:

This is the Antanov dual speed drive for the rotrex unit, it can spin the charger at a higher speed at low RPM input and then reduce the ratio at a fixed RPM.
Tech specs here: http://www.antonov-transmission.com/downlo...ulley_Specs.pdf
Its 210 mm deep
Could anyone with some knowledge of tuning comment on wether the AEM could cope with this? The Antanov changes ratio at a fixed RPM and needs no input from engine managment so I would have thought you would just map to suite the new boost curve?

I like the Antonov idea, but I don't believe the S2000 really needs it. Possibly some undersized eurobox engine would, but aggressive VTEC means the S2000 can easily make big power on cam. The Tiny Rotrex delivers exactly what the S2000 needs; a filling out of the lower-cam torque hole.
Possibly tuning an Antonov to slow down on changeover would reduce the effect of the Vicious step increase in power, which can make high-power SC S2Ks very dangerous to drive in the wet.
eSupercharged eMentalist; pleased you finally got the car back. I suppose being confounded by a psychotic AEM FRED is perhaps poetic justice for an IT engineer, but very frustrating nonetheless.
Not long now to the next Herts meet. My life already!

Last week Richard had a LHD car in to get the Rotrex SC installed. This car required custom pipework and a custom harness and they still managed to turn it around in 3 days.

With more boost at lower RPM it would change the torque hole from a torque flat to a torque mound
