Some sparkling water, which has the fizzing action, then dab gently with warm water to soften it up and leave for a minute or so.
The reason it's scratched is that if you rub too soon, it can still be set hard on the paint and has an abrasive effect.
This is not singly the case on the S2, I've seen it happen on my old Golf.
Patience is the order of the day! As for the rust, if it can be proved it's not stone damage then you should be okay for a repair job under warranty.
