You are correct, i simply forgot IIRC it was just over 6 month ago.

Im taking it into the garage tommorow to get it sorted, will update the thread with the outcome.

Agreed, its my own fault i never clean there and it simply hasnt sprung to mind.

The corrosion warranty is 12 years on 06+ models but was 6 years prior to this - so looks like you just missed it.

I didn't know about the 06 corrosion warranty. Does this mean the chassis is galvanised seeming it is for so long??

I doubt it.

If you look on their (Honda) website they harp on about new formula paints and bodywork preparation. The thing with corrosion warranties is there is so much small print I doubt they ever need to worry about paying out.

it will be a perforation warrenty... not just surface rust
