Been there a few times in my civic. Great days, just found it was VERY hard on the cars.
Believe the current lap record is held by an S2000, may have changed, but was the case a few years back when I went.

Personally I prefer a slightly bigger tracks.
Anyone been to Blyton Park? Similar social set-up if going in groups, with a slightly bigger track.
Need to get new exhaust on and do a few track days.
Went to Blyton Park on Thursday.
Brilliant 1.6 mile counter clockwise track.......apparently most are clockwise.

Yes we went to Blyton last year, myself and TailHappy, Ron and Will brilliant circuit very relaxed atmosphere, definitely want to go there again this year.

This Curborough did look some good fun, as Lee says it's kinda what the S is designed to do well.

Have to agree with you there Lee, the best day since i've owned the S by far, The fact we hired the circuit so had it to ourselves and the fact it was a 10 car limit was the reason i went, no db limit no one looking over our shoulder, the ability to use which ever layout we want including multiple laps if we wished, the fact we used the sprint course was down to the fact we may do some sprints or hill climbs at some point so was a good taster for future plans, the day far surpassed anything i was hoping for, To be given the keys to the track and told to go and enjoy yourselves was great then for the caretaker to turn up a little later and set up the timing gear for us was the icing on the cake, as he drove off shouting see you at 5 we were like kids in a sweet shop, Massive thanks to Rhauri for organizing it , Would i go again in a heart beat

Sounds awesome guys - When's the next one?

Being in charge of your own event sounds a lot more fun than the normal track day set up. I'd be interested in doing this sometime this year if there was another being organised? Week days are fine.

Exactly; and the real point here is that theres no pressure to overtake or have some nobber in a Porka or BMW up your ass, its just you, the track & and time.
No excuses about people holding you up either!
