Default S2000 Engine Bay Hoses

Hi,

I have replaced my induction hose and coolant hoses with Samco Silicone Hoses.

My question is has anyone ever replaced the other miscellaneous hoses around the bay with a coloured silicone hose or maybe a stainless steel braided hose?

There doesnt seem to be many products on offer for this application.

Thanks in advance.

Dillon

I did something similar as wanted some blue hoses to cosmetically match the radiator hoses, so bought some blue silicone tubing (Si @ Hendyperformance and later some more on fleabay).

I posted a query on here about which hoses are safe to change, as I read that silicone hoses sweat under certain conditions (there is a long debate on here between two learned gents). I fitted two hoses and intend to do the rest of the breathing hoses at some point, but some do sweat when the car is left standing a few days.

IIRC there is a company (maybe HEL) making bespoke braided hoses but they cost a fair bit.

If you mean the vacuum hoses etc, they will be fine,at the worst they will discolour, maybe the breather hoses might swell as the silicon has to be lined(flourer lined or summat like that)
There is a company(not samco/sfs)that will make custom hoses for you,but will be at a cost,my dad got some made up and they weren't cheap.
Can't remember name of company but he will know, can find out if you want?

I've come accross this kit on eBay

Viper do radiator and induction hoses alright by the look of their site, have those already though. Cool company though!

There is also a grip on braided cover you can buy in the us, can't think of the name off the top of my head now
