Surely there's only one pub fact that's relevant: The S2000 has 237bhp, whereas the Civic only has 197bhp.
How many of those horses are available at the wheels?

And who ever managed to get all of them on a dyno

Isn't is still the most bhp per litre from an NA car?

Possibly one of the newer Ferraris has claimed than now?

Really wish the big H had made the 5 cylinder 300hp motor they originally had planned for the S.

The F20C is the next best thing as far as I'm concerned but that 5 Pot would have been rather nice and rather special.

Good thread Tom! I am constantly being wound up by muppets at work calling the S2000 a hairdressers car and the usual low witted comments..

This gives me some good ammo to fire back at them!

Have you ever taken any of these muppets out for a spin to shut them up?

The last one that I took out looked as if he was going to sh1t himself then be sick!

Thankfully he did neither but needless to say I had no more jibes

I smile at their ignorance rather than try and justify it

I don't.

five & 10 pots are only good for (German) diesel trucks.

Crank is hard to balance & very heavy.

Honda realised the Vigor engine was unsuitable.

I would but they are mainly my bosses and are so full of their own petty self importance to even be able to spare half an hour to come out for a spin! Can you sense a little bitterness there?!
