S2000 Review

RX-8 wins... incredible ! Pg.5 has the track test stats.

"You don't so much drive the S2000 as wear it or ride it."

One in the eye for all the MY04 owners ...

"Despite or perhaps because of its newfound "civilization" program and a slight weight gain, the 2004 S2000 produces performance numbers only marginally diminished from what they used to be."

It's the lard-ass yank version they were testing Shisky, not the finely tuned racing machine that is the European 04 S2000.

An RX-8 did very well compared to the S2000's at a Motorsport Academy Day I went to a while back. I know driver skill comes in to play here as well but it certainly held it's own!!

Is the american 2.2 litre version heavier than the euro 04/05 car?

Anyone know?

Interesting how close the three cars were in the braking/handling/acceleration g test. Hardly anything between them.

It would be interesting to see the 04/05 euro car tested against the 2.2.

No one would ever do it - too s2000 anal...
