Default s2000 help needed

hi all, i have just bought a slighlty damaged s2000 gt 52 plate, i have sourced most of the bits i need after scouring the web and the country, i just need the dreaded headlamps, my s2000 has xenons and new from honda they are mortgageable rather than affordable, can i replace them with standard headlights. either way does anyone know of somewhere to get them from.

also, the car has done 19k, i have no service history although i know it to be genuine, but when do they need servicing and what needs doing, where could i get a book pack from to stamp it up with the previous history, again, onda are v v v v expensive

cheers all

chris

The headlamps themselves regularly show up on ebay for sale, however I dont think this includes the HID units, as for changing the set up, I dont know whether this would be possible... Service book and owners manual pack comes in at 35 quid I think, I didnt have any luck finding these elsewhere when I tried.

Service intervals on the car as follows, 9,000 or twelve months for first service, 18,000 or 24 months for second.

Hope you manage to source ure lights at a reasonable price

What do you mean by stamp it up with previous history?

247spares.co.uk might be some use for the headlights

If you can find the dealer who serviced the car, you can get a replacement service book, & then have it stamped up for you, at no cost.

We had to do that for Rita's Accord because the previous owner had lost the service book, but had it maintained at a Honda Dealer. They just looked it up on their computer & stamped away !

thanks for the reply guys, hope the american ebay item will fit and send here, they are expesnive i know, i hope that when i get a reply from the honda dealer that supplied it they will tell me that it had its 18k service so i wont have to add that to the list of bills.

what i meant by stamp it up was get a blank service book from somehwere and hunt down its service history from honda so i can get the book stamped up with the cars honda history.

chris and his nearly driveable silverstone gt
