Might be me! I'm from the South Bank, but work in Hull and travel over Withernsea way (Burton Pidsea) once a week. Been reading the forum since I got the car in March, but have never introduced myself, sorry!!! Anyway, hello! I graduated from a Brabus Smart Roadster, which had wonderful handling but not quite enough power! She's a 2005 Silverstone, nearly up to 54000 miles, and I'm planning to service her myself very soon. I have used the excellent information on this forum to encourage myself to diy servicing, which I decided on after several quotes of £500 to £700 (inc rear pads). I used to service my cars many years ago, so I thought I would give it a go, and give my 15 year old son an interest as well. Also a pair of Bridgestones are in the offing, and laser alignment...hoping the bolts are not seized!! I plan to keep my car largely standard although the exhaust mod looks tempting! Anyway hello from me, thanks for a great source of information and knowledge.
