You are on the right lines on the link, as in it is a CAi (Cold air intake) I prefer over standard cone replacement with scoop or short ram system.

Why spend the money on it? - it makes little difference to performance. If you want more noise, take off the airbox lid - if you want more go, then learn to drive it properly.....

I can quite honestly say this is the best mod i've made. The sound is *much* better than removing the airbox lid and it actually increases throttle response/power instead of reducing it through increased heatsoak etc. VTEC is so pronounced now. Without spending silly money, The Injen is good too.

 

Sounds like i may have to remove the airbox lid to sample the sounds!
