I quite like the latest mx5 with its metal folding roof, I'm not a big turbo fan but if it brings it up to similar performance of the s2k I would consider it, if it drove how I like a car to drive.

My biggest issues with turbos are the big surge of power low down and then they feel like they are tailing off top end or it has nothing low down but big power top end, I much prefer linear power even if its a little slower overall.

The BBR Super 200 is a NA tune not a turbo conversion

MX5 should be about 200bhp out the box these days. The BBR would be quite a rewarding drive for the masses

Not manic enough (even though 7800limit) for my taste

Want that exhaust, actually if I had a choice it would be a J's, but yours/Q300 is more achievable.

I often find myself behind an MX5 and they just look too dainty to me. Tyres are thin and the whole package just seems.... small. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that, i'll stick with my S.

If you ever want an MX5 experience, just drive around and never hit VTEC. 2 cars in 1!
