Default S2000 Purchase Advice

Well, it seems that this is THE place for good impartial advice!

Hello, all... so I'm finally taking the plunge (read pleasure) and am looking to really join the ranks and get my little hands on an S2000... also an acquaintance of mine is preparing to sell his S2000 (W reg, no mods, silverstone, black interior, hard top, and I think he said 25,000 miles and I think I've noticed some hazing on the soft top rear window).

I know he's a realiable guy, but I'm wondering what a fair price for the car would be... I've looked in Parkers (and it seems that S2000s hold their price above book price so I don't feel I can take that as the going rate).

I've also looked over the prices on the forum and I can't see anything directly comparable, any suggestions?

Cheers,

One Lady Owner (to be)
