Spotted Gordon (I think), roof down, red hat near Royston (MCB X1 XBY IIRC) - sorry, would have given a more enthusiastic wave had I not had my tin hat on

Was this you tonight?

S200 OBA (spaced), Moonrock, 04+, std exhausts.

Past the Davenport arms, Congy bound, overtook a meaty Smart Roadster on solid whites, on a 30.... tut tut...shame on you.

So who is S200 OBA then?

There aren't any.

Plymouth City Council have at least twenty Gatsos on every race track.
No good runs exist within five miles of the City that i can think of. Cameras you see.... I reckon I saw them fitting one to the runway at BA last time we were there!

Reminiscing:
We used to race to Tavistock on the A386, up to Roborough- Pricetown - Tavistock - Roborough. Or over the Tamar bridge, out to Callington and back through Tavistock- Roborough. Some of us have even survived.
We all used Royal Parade as a drag strip. It WAS two lanes in each direction, straight, wide, and just shy of a quarter mile. Always managed 125 from the Argos end and still stop at Viaduct roundabout on the GPZ Union Street was for showing off wheelies to the cheering drunks on a Saturday night, and annoying the coppers

As for drives, a good run is between the Torpoint ferry and Tamar bridge, on the Cornish side. A detour into Looe is also nice, especially in summer.
For scenery, head over to Rame head, along the south coast to Looe, nice beaches at Whitsand bay. Drop down into Seaton and Downderry for cool steep drops into little beach villages.
For the biggest view, drive up to that massive television mast - you can see it if you look North West. Its actually called North Hill on the map, or visit Kit Hill near to Callington.
A drive to Paignton or Torbay is essential in summer. Get into the lanes at the far end of Plymstock and just keep going, go down through Kingsbridge etc... long but pleasant.
Want to stay closer to home? I just like the trip up over Lee Moor, get off at roborough roundabout go through the lanes to Seaton Barracks and follow the signs... end up at Burrator reservoir for an ice-cream, then pick your way back up across the moors to Yelverton....

Ah.... warm and fuzzy....where's me hot chocolate.....

Sure we can go for a trip, in fact we could do a run in the summer, just for old times sake!

Steve.
Sound like some great routes for me to try later this year, thanks.

Liam - we should try and arrange a "Devon" meet someday

Spotted a RNB or MCB last night around 7ish. I'd just turned onto Beech Lane and you went past in the other direction, sorry no as I only saw you last minute.
