Default S2000 specs 2006 model

Is the 2006 model a 2 litre or 2.2? I thought the s2000 was updated in 2004 to have a 2.2 litre engine but a Honda website I was looking at today still quotes the engine as a 2litre Vtec even for new cars?

What additional options were available on the 2006 model? I think there is an interiour upgrade (more leather bits I assume?) which may be nice to have but other than that I prefer minimal options especially when they add weight!

Does the hard top fit over the soft top or does the soft top have to be removed first ? I don`t have a garage for this car at the moment and probably would go for the GT. I assume a GT model still comes with the soft top also?

Sorry for the newbie questions.

I`m currently interested in a 2006 GT model close by. Whats a fair price do you think, or a price to target for when haggling (I like to haggle hard but with a respectable lower boundary in mind). I`ll probably have to trade in my BMW 320TD SE Compact so that may work against me though. I think the forecourt price is

Yeah - the UK s200 is a 2 litre - just the Americans who seem to get the 2.2litre.

Apart from headrest speakers - not sure there were many new features on the 2006 model compared to 04.

the soft top goes down and then you put the hard top on - and yes GT comes with both. I have the GT and is a fantastic option - is like having two different cars. However sun always seems to come out when the har top is on!

How old is the car you're looking at? Is it an 06 or 56? Recently bought a new 07 to replace my 05 and best prices for UK model is about

I think VSA (Traction Control/Stability assist) is the major difference between MY04/05 and 06+. The differences are listed in the FAQ, have a look there.

Standard roll hoop speakers on +06
Optional headrest speakers on 04 & 05

VSA is a rare option on UK cars made possible by the Drive By Wire system which is standard on all +06 cars.

Cheers for the info all.
I have been thinking for the past year or so that the later cars were 2.2ltr with less revs on offer - oooops. Actually glad I`m wrong!

Thanks for the price references. I think the car is a 56 but can`t remember for sure. I think that makes it post sept 2006 if I remember correctly. Paint is blue
