Default S2000 Undersealing

Hi

Been reading on the forum about undersealing as I want to get this sorted before the winter comes. I see people only recommended Doctor MX5 but as there based in Southampton and I'm up in Nottingham I'm reluctant to travel that far.

Is there anywhere else I can get this done more local and how much should I expect to pay as costs vary massively!

Thanks

Sam

Hi Sam,

Funny I've just been considering the same thing before this winter for my S and was going to post to see if people considered there to be any cons to doing this (other than the expense).

Found this place and was thinking of giving them a call its a bit closer for you too.

There's a place in Doncaster, I think it is called JR Classics. I know that they have worked on a S2000.

Brabazon Motors (classic car restorer) are happy to do it in Bristol.

Apologies for hijacking the thread, Sam, but did not feel right starting another similar thread...

If anyone can recommend a place in North / East London or Essex I would appreciate if you could let me know.

Thanks

No worries it's something I want to get done this winter to protect it, I wonder how much TGM charge as recommendation in Doncaster look superb but a bit more than I wanted to pay maybe my £250 estimate isn't enough.....

I had my car cleaned and undersealed by TGM recently. From memory, as they did some other work at the same time, the undersealing was £160+VAT.

They use Wurth underseal, which is similar to Waxoyl, but thicker and waxier. And blacker.

I've no idea what TGM charge. I just know from past experience that they always work out cheaper than anywhere else I've used.
