Hmmm, did you come to those prices with knowledge of Hasbro's likely licensing fee? I would expect Hasbro to want at least a few £ per board and I would not be surprised if they even wanted £20 per board - really depends on their mentality towards licensing and their beloved Monopoly game.

I've voted No simply because it is too niche and it would be a turn off to family & friends.
Perceived problems do not really centre on Hasbro as I know what the costs are with them. As you've read on my first post, we already have a contract with Hasbro/Winning Moves for an edition we're launching in March. It's not £20 a game.

Honda is the unknown quantity at the moment and there is no point in attempting to contact them until I know that there is enough interest. It's a case of "who do I ask first" and it was always easier to get feedback from the forum initially.

I have thought of a more mainstream edition featuring sports/exotica but the S2Ki version, as some have picked up on, would be a souvenir/novelty edition simply to celebrate the site and the car. In this respect, the market is as much of a "niche" as the car itself, yet more so. I don't dispute that for one minute.

At this stage, the support is clearly divided (which I expected). It will really come down to the American market as to whether I proceed.

I have to agree with Lower on this one. It's a nice idea, but not for me personally
Top Gear Edition?

Oh how I wish it was £20. I'd be driving a GT3.
Licencing costs are NOT an issue.

Roadie knows what is needed to make it happen.

Apologies, I skim read your initial post and missed that point. I would hope Honda would be quite relaxed about it subject to sign off off logo and board graphical content?

That would be the hope, but we'll just have to wait 'n' see.

Is one of our regular technical contributing members sponsoring the "Go Directly to Jail" card?

You have slipped on S2000-specific diesel on a mini roundabout. Proceed directly to the insurers, do not pass the starting gantry, do not collect 200 Shell points.... I quite like the idea, good luck!
