Default s3000?

Hi all,

I was in Honda Bristol (Cribbs) this week chatting to one of their sales people, admiring the NSX they have in at the moment and he started talking about the s3000.

I didn't think this existed and a quick google hasn't helped.
Is he a complete numpty?

Chris

ps I was outraged at the price of new disks and pads - why doesn't the s2000 qualify for the 'honda happiness'? Seems to me that the parts are the same and it didn't take more than an hour....

It doesn't exist.

There has been talk of one but nothing official.

Re the Honda happiness - I think its the S and NSX which aren't included. Prob based on cost of parts comapred to the rest of the Honda shopping cars. Not sure on the ITR and CTR though?

If you need discs there are very cheap options out there which are probaby as good as OEM.

A lot of track people on here are using Brakes International.

When i had my yellow S the girl on the desk quoted me a honda happiness price for a full set of discs/pads.When i went to pick it up she said she'd got it wrong and shouldn't have, but gave me the discount as it was her fault.

Thanks for such quick replies!
I knew that guy was talking rubbish. He even said he'd sold a few...maybe I won't be going back to Cribbs again!!

As for the brakes...I'm quietly crying to myself now, Why didn't I ask on here BEFORE I bought them?

Ah well, I'll be waiting another month for my new TV then

Re Honda Happiness.
S2000 and NSX are excluded, however, there is no reason that front pads cannot be replaced for

What a tit.

You should make a point of speaking to his boss.

I had one of them start telling me how the Civic type R was quicker and better than the S2000. I was speechless. whether he was right or wrong, you don't say that to a customer!

I asked how he knew and said he'd driven customers cars. Great. So he'd been thrashing them then

Dealers are a different breed

What a complete tit he is!

Lets all call his bluff, each of us ring up the dealership and ask to speak to the guy who told us the S3000 is available for order and ask to pre-order one as a friend of ours has been told that orders have been taken by the salesman in question. Im sure the dealer principal will have a few things to say about the stream of calls coming in.

Chris G, do you remember his name?

Good idea.

Bullshitters should have it thrown back in their faces! I know it's a salesreptile's job to sell his grandmother for his commission, but there are limits.
