In the same article, JC predicts the death of any future design like the S2000..."In future, long swooping bonnets that seem to be snorting the white lines off the road will be outlawed".

I'm sure that line's cribbed from a review of the S2000.

I presume this is because of the pedestrian crash test (or whatever they call it)???

It is also to do with the rake angle of the wind screen cos americans are not forced to wear seat belts, means the A frame has to be more upright to give more room for a bigger air bag

I read that article and agreed with everything he said tbh, I think by the nd of it he'd worked up into such a rant that the Civic got it because it is so PC

I'm all for peoples safety but it is getting a little silly when they attack cars

He's said the same frequently, but often singles out the S2000 and Civic Type R as being completely different.
