I posted about this a while back. It took me and Event Mobile about a week to get to the bottom of this. Both Honda and MB have a RE050 Tyre the E050MZ is the important bit and specifies Honda S2000. The 250/301 number is for Bridgestone internal use only and in unimportant.

You'll get a from me, Euan and Jim for them.
Mmm... I am not so sure about Craighill now.

If my car's vibrations have now been cured (new rears fitted by dealer, but not driven in anger yet), then it is likely due to poor balancing.........

and the vibrations could well coincide with when I had my rears replaced.

Difficult to say if if due to poor balancing by Craighill or not, but it has made me wonder.

Thankfully MY02 owners don't have the same problems with tyre mix ups. Got my new ESO2JZ 245/50/R16 92W Potenza SO2s fitted today by Kwik Fit (local depot and the blokes there seem pretty diligent and do a good job).

Had a fitted price of

You made the right choice

BTW - O2 owners do have a lot of trouble with getting the right tyres fitted, even by dealers.

I am pleasantly suprised to hear kwik-fit did a good job - I am very wary of these chain places as they seem to have a lot of difficulty fitting the tyres without damaging the rims (ATS fcuked up my spare set of 01 wheels - )

peacock damage is still present

havent got arround to chasing the guy up about it yet...I know I am leaving it a while....in fact I am regretting not just letting th eins company sort it out straight away!

need to have another chat with the guy soon.

currently the car has been buffed by the owners contact who has admittedly got a decent amount of the scratches out but not completely and just about every panel is still affected in some way. they are trying to arrange a dentmaster type person to have a go at the peck marks also. I may wait for this before I recontact the ins company.

...the saga continues
