I opted to DIY the whole job , after many hours of work, cuts, bruises, swearing, pies, worrying, did i say pies? and generally re-checking its now on and running
Its an aftercooled comptech, i confess apart from the aftercooler radiator and fuel pump it took me 8 hours of work - I'm not the fastest worker, just didnt trust myself, but it started up first time too .
I rate the whole job for me difficulity wise 7.5/10 - it was bloody annoying, frustating and difficult in some places
I havent really booted it, i have an AFR gauage but intial impressions are:
Its quicker but nothing different until 4k rpm.
Feels a bit heavier on front end - I'm sure brakes are working harder, i can feel it.
Feck me sideways i took it upto 7k rpm only twice (reluctant to boot it) and its very quick - i was laughing
I cant see me running anymore than 7psi TBH, it needs the fpr properly and tuned.
I have a few bolt on's (manifold, exhaust), and a different FD.
Many thanks to s2k aok, s2000junky, kitkatRislar, my hamster, mam&dad and god.
Sorry for lack of pics, just wanted to bash on and i forgot

Mase is good but me I will map it with quite a bit of help from my mate (who's a tuner) - i will likely go with a standalone DTA ECU.
Why not sell your ass in Millom Then buy an AEM ECU and let MASE tune it properly, you can even stay at mine if you like as I know its a long way for you
