Nice job! Wanna help me install my Vortech S/C? My fuel pump just came in the mail today. All I need now are some colder spark plugs and I'm ready to get cracking.

Unfortunately this is an un-avoidable step with a comptech SC install - the instructions tell you to do this and measure it.

The oil return line from the blower will foul the crossmember if you dont do this step.

I think that picture is a little missleading (it looks like the whole crossmember is bent but, it isnt) - its just outside rim that was bent. The crossmember integrity has not been dented or compromised.

Mark, very little effort and yes i think the weight is noticable on the front end - at this moment in time the car is only about 10kg less than stock .
