Default ScanGaugeII - Reviews?

Hi All,

Been looking at these for the S, seem like a nice bit of kit considering the amount of sensor values they can show and also being able to read fault codes. And being plug & play can be easily swapped to other cars if need be.
I done a search and looks as if there a GB on these at one stage so just wondering what people think of these? Are they worth it?

It's a nice toy to have, Mine shows air intake tmp, water temp, tank range and the last one I vary depending on my mood but it has quite a few options.

I've not studied the manual hard so I don't know if I could make it show extended info like fuel trims etc.

When driving in France I had the SG showing mph and miles on current tank while the main cluster was switched to show foriegn money.

Mine is installed in the radio door.

Good for keeping up with your gas mileage, not very good for much else if you're not trying to watch your MPG

If you want to get something don't get the scanguage it looks like it was designed and produced in the 1970's, this is far more bling and compact

I have a blitz r-vit which is very similar to the one STI mentions

I like it alot nice compact unit easy to display with modifry dash mount and very simple to install via OBD port.

It has 8 way monitoring.

The Scangauge is rehomes in the R26.
Where it shows boost and intake air temps etc.
I have a computer in the car so that takes car of MPG etc.
It also fills the pocket under the HU nicely and is the same colour

I made another lead so I can just lift the SG2 out and test other cars easily.
