Nice work, how do you find the scan guage for showing accurate Uk MPG?
might just set it up for litres... I want it for monitoring temperatures and If I can get it to estimate distance to empty that is also good.

I do have current MPG on the guage at the moment but it's so up and down when driving around town that its just a funny number switching between 7mpg and 9999mpg

I'm planning to add the xGuage bits to put some of the average MPGs into the guages.

Must have been difficult to cut the aperture and button holes so accurately.

Nice work

You could cover the back with some black felt. Velcro top and bottom would hold it in place.

Watch out for the Scanguage draining your battery. I have had to unplug mine as it was turning itself on randomly.

I walked past the car in the drive one evening to find it glowing and when the car was left for a couple of days the battery needed re-charging.

Hey, about time!
Nice job, compliments

FWIW Im also finding averages are good and accurate, I run in litres as its easy at fill up time.

I've created two Xgauges called 2MT (distance to empty) and AVG (Average daily fuel consumption).

Also made a spare lead, using a

Try and set up the TPS cutoff in SETUP - see the handbook.
Theres a dead band adjustment that will stop the off scale 9999 reading happening.
You read the TPS (throttle position sensor) raw value on screen at throttle almost closed and feed into the cutoff parameter in SETUP.
It then ignores readings for averages and instantaneous fuel consumption at closed throttle on the overrun which generate these nonsense numbers and slew the average readings.

HTH.
