Just been readin up on the Shin etsu silicone greese for the rubber seals. But I've already got some Autoglym vinyl and rubber care stuff.

Will this do are is it worth buying greese

The shinetsu grease does a different job to the AG care stuff really and usually better. You can buy from Helfrauds some white silicone grease for about

The Shin-etsu grease is excellent and much longer lasting than the cheap stuff in my experience

Its only about 7 quid from a dealer, part number in the Tech FAQ

And if you have ever blown a seal in your car then it is rather messy to clean up and you could get reported to the RSPCA for lewd conduct.
