Default seat height

I have just read the thread on likes and dislikes and my only dislike of the car is that the seat is a little high for my 6ft3 frame. Is there anything that can be done short of removing some verterbrae from my spine?

Yes, you can do a search on the American board's for the thread's on 2 solution's.
one is removing some of the padding from the seat base, the other is modifying the seat runner's.

You could use Bride/Recaro seats with Bride RO-Type subframes.
It lowers the height by around 2inches.

Getting 3rd party rails/sliders for bucket seats to fit the S2000 in the UK is not an easy thing to do

I am in the process of talking to a few people with regards to buying some but nothing concrete yet

Trust me, it's very easy.
I've bought 2 Bride seatrails from Taka Kaira.
It cost around

If they don't have it in stock, it'll take a couple of days to get it in. After that it's just 4-5 working days once it's shipped from Japan.
I and a lot of the guys on the Civic Type-R forums have used Taka Kaira. They're very fast and reliable. Great customer service too, you can track your order process on their site.

Thanks for the feedback

Can the Bride RO subframes be used with the standard seats and lower the seat height?

I will look on the US site for the link

Well no unless you can remove the seatrails off the the stock seats.
The Bride seatrails are really designed for aftermarkets Recaro/Bride seats.
