Do a search on the forum or google for backyard special seat rail or bys seat rail.

I have a set of the BYS versions, they are not cheap.
But they do lower you approx 2inches in the car. The base of the seat is lowered more than the back.
I am 6'3" and I find I get a lot less buffeting with the lowered seats.
Where are you based? Maybe we can get together so you can try the lowered seats?

They only lower the seat about an inch (think it's 20mm), but it's still worth it if you don't want to change to a full bucket seat.

I recently purchased a BYS one and installed it on the recommendation of others. It wasn't cheap (including duties) and lowers the seat only about 20mm as suggested. My reason for doing this was at 6ft2, I felt that the top of my head was constantly getting buffeting from the wind with the roof off. I cannot say that it made that much of a difference and TBH I was questioning the actual value of it (circa €400 incl duties and shipping). However, it's in now and I'll leave it alone, but I'm not sure that I would doing it again.

I'm right down on south coast

im 6 foot but short legs with long body I'm not buffeted too much but my eye line is alittle high in car, when I put visor down can't see much at all - mine's not a daily drive and not too worried but will keep a look out for at least a drivers side

thanks for replies all
