I have been thinking of changing car for a while and have just found something of interest that will require me selling the S2000 first.

Can any one tell me anything about this S2004U crowd?

Are there any other specialist traders who would take my S2000 off me?

For a reasonable price I mean!

Just a thought at the moment... will probably wait for the new year before changing.

 

The only way you're guaranteed to sell it quickly is to price it below the usual for the age and mileage - but then I suspect you already knew that

S20004U paid me a good price for my 04 - but then I suspect that there was an ulterior motive of trying to curry favour with a CO on the UK board and perhaps buy a little good press. Could just be cynicism on my part but the price they paid my brother when they took his V-reg car off him not longer after wasn't anywhere near as generous....

Try them - just don't expect to get anywhere what you'd get on a private sale.

So, go on then, what's the potential replacement? You know very well that you can't post up a thread about possibly changing without letting on what's potentially going to replace it!

Generally those who have sold to them have been very happy.

 

Not seen the S20004U thread Ian, though heard it mentioned many times.

Will give them a shout.

Was planning to sell up come bonus time, but am interested in a good used example that has come on the market which may provoke an earlier move. Maybe!

I can say that my the sale of my first Honda S2000 to S2000 4U was both painless and easy. I got a fair price given that it needed to have some minor body damage repaired as well as a split rear screen replaced.

I am looking at having to sell my current S and I have approached them again. However, they have a large stock at the moment and are not really in the buying zone. Still, they made me an offer that was reasonable given the time of year but I think the best course of action is to wait until the spring and the demand for a 2 seater rag top increases. Hopefully, so the value of the car will increase.

 

I sold my 1st one with S2000 4 U - very quick and very painless.

Agreed a price over the phone, quite a reasonable one too. Bloke turned up, spotted my roof was a bit worn so nocked off
