Seperate boot light
Like many of us when messing about with the beloved one ( car not her! ) the boot is often open for long periods at a time with the integral light on and risking running down the battery. As a result I have removed the bulb.
Trouble is when I do need the light I either have to replace bulb or fumble with a torch.
Most hardware shops are currently selling a very neat circular self-adhesive battery operated LED light unit about 2" diameter. I chose a metallic red one & fixed it to the underside of the boot lid.
I may well get a couple for the engine bay.

and surely it would be easier to change the bulb to an LED if your THAT worried!
What do you actually do in your boot??
...that can flatten your battery?
Please do tell. Personal experience by any chance?
, thought i was missing out on something there
