I'm running Toyo Proxies .. but then i don't listen to (Honda) dealers. I'm not in their target market for customers.

What he meant to say was, you need 4 tyres. 3 would just be idiotic as it would leave 1 much more likely to lose traction.

As for which ones you choose, well YOU choose but they will only fit Bridgestone Potenza RE050s. Good tyres imo so if you did it's not the end of the world.

Then again I know nothing of the Toyos so Bibbs is probably your man to ask about the differences.

S02's and S03's were okay. But nothing special.
I've found Goodyear F1's great in all conditions, but had a dodgy incident where a tyre wall obtained a growth the size of a golfball (on the inside, so i didn't catch it early).
Toyo Proxies better in the dry, but worse in the wet. But then in the wet I don't go over 60, even on the motorway.

They grip well, but suffer from soft walls on a track, so a few extra PSI is needed. When hot though, they stick like poo on a blanket.

IIRC Honda used to hang a card from the rear view mirror of new cars stating the tyre that should be used i.e. the specific SO2 that was designed for the S2K. I seem to recall much earlier threads discussing this point although there is a more recent one (last 2-3 weeks I think) about the original S2K specific SO2's being discontinued and giving details of the recommended Bridgestone replacement.
