IIRC Honda used to hang a card from the rear view mirror of new cars stating the tyre that should be used i.e. the specific SO2 that was designed for the S2K. I seem to recall much earlier threads discussing this point although there is a more recent one (last 2-3 weeks I think) about the original S2K specific SO2's being discontinued and giving details of the recommended Bridgestone replacement.
