Hi all,

my car has hit 27,000 miles now, and ive done 4000 since ive had it, and god knows when it was last serviced!

so im gona attempt my first service, as i dont really want to give honda another

cheers mate, for some reason it'll now zoom in. cheers!

what about filters then, ive been reading and JR and K&N are both mentioned alot. not sure which to go with, can anyone give an opinion?

also, should i go to honda to get my oil filter and fuel filter etc?

just done exactly the same as you.

bought air filter, oil filter and fuel filter direct from honda.

spark plugs a great price from www.spark-plugs.co.uk/
definately go fot the
pfg7r-11s standard (think i got the number right)
i used 5w-30 castrol edge.

also check your pollen filter. you will surprised how dirty it gets and all the air you breath in the car has to pass through that muck first so for

pollen filter is under the bonnet and under the black plativ section below the passenger window wiper.

your service manual is winging it's way to you now as we speak all 30meg of it.

i also have the tech manual if you get stuck depending on how mechanically minded you are!

i've never done a service before so a manual would prob be very useful if you didnt mind.

lol it's no problem.

pm me if you need any more. you will be surprised at how much they charge you for work that is so easy to do yourself and now you will know its been done properly.

There's also the workshop manual which can come in handy if you need it. That's about 500mb.
