Having read a previous thread about someone saying that their next service was in 12 months or 12,000 miles could someone let me know what is right ?

I have always thought that the service interval is 9,000 miles - hence I will need to get mine done very soon (8,400) ?

Could someone let me know the official line (official from Honda).

My UK service book says every 9000 miles - with optional oil/filter changes at 4500 - after the first 9000
