Seems to be difficult finding the perfect S2000 and this one is right in so many ways. Out of interest, which service is the diff oil generally changed at?
If its just stamps in the book that you have and no receipts you could always ring Honda UK and ask them to confirm what service history they have recorded. I rung them about a potential purchase and they were most helpful- not sure if they could actually tell you whats been done in that service mind...

I had to comprimise a little when buying mine so if you're happy with it thats the main thing. I'm a bit retentive when it comes to buying cars and service history and I just think that someone who gets a high performance car looked at once every two years isn't really what I'd call an enthusiast owner who's car is their pride and joy- just the way I look at things but most people it probably wouldn't bother. Like others have said it probably does the car no harm as such.

In the service book, pages 35/36 there is 9,000 schedule it bullets the work to be carried out at 12 month intervals and/or miles stating whichever comes first.

The fuel filter is often overlooked by DIY ers because it is a bit awkward, but if you are slightly built, enjoy petrol fumes and do not smoke you will be fine.
