Smile Service Prices

Why is there such a difference in prices for a service? Admittedly this is for a Civic Sport but I phoned up the local garage - they want to charge

Two of the quotes are from the same franchise and all of the dealers have been around for ages and appear pretty popular.

they look it up on the computer how long thew sercive should take and times it by their hourly rate.

Differnt garages have differnt hour rates according to location size and the like. That's why i try to combine the service with visit to the folks to avoid Chiswick's

Like Moggy says supply and demand! That hourly rate covers the pay of all the employees and all the other overheads!

So let market forces decide take your business elsewhere, when enough people do it they will have to drop their prices to compete!

They are all their own businesses, so Honda UK have no centralised control i guess. Which in some respects is good, others bad
